As per the Norm, the Telangana state model school (6^th, 7^th, 8^th, 9^th, 10^th) class admission selection is taking place. Eligible candidates should use the online application portal. To register and fill the application for TSMS admission 2024. The Telangana State government and the department of school education. Has officially announced the TSMS admission and intermediate courses under the TSMS schools in the academic year 2024-25.

The admission notification is always done before the last week of January. To help candidates prepare and apply online. The portal has the complete schedule and dates for proper guidance. For students in the SC/ST/BC categories. They can pay a fee of Rs. 50/- while other categories pay Rs. 100/- for the application of 6^th, 7th, 8^th, 9^th, 10^th and intermediate selection.

TSMS Online Application Details

The application fee is payable at the Meesava or C.S.C. centres. After payment, you will receive a general number or Trans ID/application number. Use the number during the online application process. However, applicants should check eligibility criteria before applying. The TSMS notification will be out by February month. The process will commence and end by the first week of March.

What is the Eligibility Criteria For TSMS?

The T.S. Department of school education has several criteria which the candidate should fulfil.

Class	Age limit
6th class	10
7th class	11
8th class	12
9th class	13
10th class	14

The students should fulfil the above ages by 31^st August of the academic year. The candidate must have qualified and passed the previous examination. The exams should be from a government-approved board.

Selection Procedure

The selection process is done through the entrance test marks merit. The department will follow the reservation rule in the G.O.Ms.NO. 24 secondary (Prog II) department (10/06/2016).

The rules of preservation

• 15% and 0.6% of seats in each class are preserved for SC/ST categories.
• 29%of seat in every class should be preserved for B.C. These apply for the five groups of B.C. category.
• The department should offer 0.3% of the seats to the physically challenged candidates.
• There should be seats for girls, as indicated in class 4 of G.O.M.s. NO.24 secondary education (Prog II) (10/06/2016/).
• 50 %of the seats are for the open category.
• For classes VI and X, two categories are getting an intake of 50 each. After admission, the class is considered as a unit of 100 for class VI and X.
• All the model school are considered as a unit.

Eligible students should visit the TSMS website for the application process.

1. Visit the TSMS website using the link https://telanganams.cgg.gov.in/TSMSWEB20/#/
2. On the homepage, select the option “admission.”
3. Proceed and click the tab “admission procedure” followed by the option “online application form.”
4. The system will show the application page. Fill the required details and select the payment mode.
5. Pay the application fee and download/print the application form.

Required Documents

• The student should have a mark sheet of the previous class passed.
• A transfer or migration certificate issued by the previous school.
• A character certificate offered by the school authority.
• Recent passport size photo.

The TSMS model entrance test pattern

There are four questions in the question paper booklet. For the students to fill, the student should expect the following subjects and questions.

The above is a class VI exam pattern. The questions are bases on the syllabus. They follow the objective type with multiple choices provided. For the mathematics and E.V.S. sections, they are coordinated in bilingual (English and Telugu).

Class VII to X exam patterns

The questions are based on previous class syllabus, where students will provide multiple choices. All the subjects besides English will be in bilingual (Telugu and English). The examinations will take two hours only.

TSMS Admit card 2024

Eligible candidates should open the TSMS website and download the 2024 Admit card. The district headquarters are the centres for exams. The centre name will be printed on the Admit card. Student can download the cards using the reference/application number issued during application. The process is only viable by online website portal https://telanganams.cgg.gov.in/TSMSWEB20/#/.
