Objectives of APOSS 2020:
- To identify the educational needs of the learners who cannot cater the formal school education system.
- To provide education upto pre-degree level through Open and Distance learning mode (ODL).
- To provide educational standards in Open and ditance Learning mode.
- To provide education to those who missed opportunities to complete school education.
Educational Programmes at APOSS 2020:
Government of Andhra Pradesh started open Basic Education Programme of A,B,C levels. These levels are eqivalent to III, V, VIII classes of formal system.

About APOSS examinations 2020:
The candidates who had applied for Open School System should complete their study in two attempts. There are 9 subjects to be qualified in two examinations. One examination is held in March or April and the other examination held in September. Results for both the examinations are announced separately.
Also there will be supplementary examinations conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Open School System. Information like dates, fees, and application forms are announced after the ap open school results 2020 for main exams are released.
