Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced about a recruitment of AP Grama Sachivalayam (Village Secretariat) posts for the welfare of people on the oath taking ceremony. It had been declared that approximately 1.6 lakh vacancies will be filled by this recruitment. These posts will be filled before October 2, 2019 for the development of villages. AP Grama Sachivalayam Recruitment Notification 2019:
According to the news given earlier, recruitment of AP Grama sachivalayam posts will be done soon. The aspiring candidates can go through the AP Online portal to know more details. But more details about the recruitment will be obtained after the release of official notification PDF. It is said that the complete procedure like notification release, exam, and recruitment will be done on or before October 2, 2019 . i.e., 2 or 3 months.
AP Grama Sachivalayam Recruitment 2019 Details:
There are 13,065 grama panchayats in Andhra Pradesh. These panchayats are divided into 12,671 Sachivalayams. So that there will be one sachivalayam for every 2000 people. For every secretariat there will be 11 employees. The main posts of this recruitment are Village Panchayat Secretary, VRO, MOEO, ANM, Veterinary, Village engineer, Lady Police Assistant, Electrical Assistant etc. For these 12671 village secretariats 139381 employees are required but there are only 44709 employees working in village secretariats. So, almost 94672 new employees are to be recruited.

Need for Village Secretariats:
- Village secretariat posts are especially for the rural development and village empowerment.
- These village assistants and employees are to supervise all facilities like medical and Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Electricity, Drinking water, IT, Police department and others.
- To supervise all the facilities in Villages 10 – 11 employees are to be recruited to supervise all government related works.
AP Grama Sachivalayam and Important dates:
As per the news released by the press, notification will be released and application procedure starts from July 2019 and exam will be conducted in August 2019, joining orders will be given before September 10, 2019 and September 15 to September 23, 2009 training classes will be started. All the required furniture for secretariats should be arranged before September 20, 2019. All duties of village secretariats are to be started before October 2, 2019.
